Also, removed the "Blah blah blah" from the donations portion of the front page. Not sure who put it there, but whoever it was apparently disapproves of my desire to actually keep this site running.
For some reason, hacking this site seems to be the latest fad. Okay, realistically, the two circumstances were so dissimilar that it was probably just a coincidence, but still...

I need to stop doing this in big, but far between bursts. Anyway...
- Created Current Projects page. This also lists how you can help with projects. This page is far from complete, though.
- Fixed a bit of malicious code someone injected into DIM. I know ot whether the host or I am to blame for the intrusion. Well, neither, when I think on it. If a hacker wants into a site badly enough, they are getting in.
- On the Current Projects page is info on Spectrumage, a new project. Yeah, I know, I know...
- I decided to take a different approach to the amount of projects I have going which renders the previous news post moot. Instead of cutting out some projects, I have decided instead to, well, add the Current Projects page. This, of course, means that I will need help with some of these projects.

Pick some.
Unfortunately, I am but one fox, with so many projects to choose from. I need to narrow the projects down and I am allowing you to pick which ones, to some degree. See This Page for more details and to give your opinion of what I should do.

I have put up a LOT of stuff for Christmas, of varying quality. Some of it is stuff I created a long time ago, to show you just how far I've come.
- First Rise Predecessor: No official name. This was a project I created for C++ class.
- Astral Shot: A shooter game I created for VB.NET. Not very impressive, butoh well.- First Rise Demo: Created recently for C# class.
- Jewel Chaos Fix: Fixing the background toggle.
- DIM Fix: Fixing several various problems there.
- Jewel Chaos 2 Alpha: With three types of jewels to control and unique and interesting boss fights (rather than just giant versions of normal jewels, though those appear as well).
- WolfQuest: The first JavaScript game I made. Mainly for the curious. Only works in IE.
- Astral Roads: To show what I had on that project before I abandoned it.
- Soldier: A quick-and-dirty C++ project. No official name.

DIM V6 is here. A bit later than I planned it to be, but nonetheless, V6 is here. Unfortunately, accounts still cannot yet be deleted (maybe that is something for a 6.1 release) and there are still no illustrations, but nonetheless, V6 is here.
One thing I really like is that row changes can be done instantaneously. I rather dislike how, in many games (such as FFVII), it seems that row changing is a negligable strategic tool compared to the time lost by using it. With DIM, you can switch modes instantly for maximum strategy.

I have a really, really big, momentous occasion for thee to hear! You would think that I would have remembered to say this earlier, but apparently, my memory was being particularly bad even by my standards.
On tuesday, I recieved a message stating that the site had just recieved a $20 donation. The first donation, and a sizeable chunk, donated by Adam222. Or at least, a relative of his. The PayPal account was not his, but maybe he paid the relative back or something so it was essentially his donation. I know not. In any case, now finances seem to be looking up, or at least less down than they were before.

Sorry, my apologies. It looks like the saves might not be compatible. Not too big of a surprise, though, since this is, after all, a beta.

I am about to be doing work on DIM V6 saving/loading. Since DIM V6 uses the same saving/loading file URL as DIM V5 and there is no way to test the saving/loading locally, it is highly likely that, during the time that I am modifying the saving/loading files, you will be unable to save or load V5 data.
There is good news. V5 save data will likely be compatible with V6 data. However, in that case, you will have no off-hand items and the new character will have only their starting gear and level.

I think my calculator blew up determining how much bad luck I am in for from all those omens. On another note, if I remember correctly (I am not certain), the actual forum outage was on the 13th of july, but it was not until the 16th that we figured out we would have to move to a new hosting srervice. That means that Friday the 13th was the one-month aniversary of the FPB outage.
On another another note, we found a new gnome!
